I am going to try a 7.5 metre HDMI cable (expected tomorrow) to see if that works. I have also connected the V6 box to another TVwith short Cable and it works fine I have a bush 42 hd plasma that i can get both sound and picture through when i connect my virgin media box to with a scart lead. But when i try to connect them with a hdmi cable i can only get the picture with no sound at all.
